Japanese Bantam

The Japanese Bantam is a true Bantam, with no standard size equivalent.  It is a showy bird with the shortest legs of any variety.  What the legs lack, the tail makes up for with its extreme length.  Despite their unusual shape, Japanes bantams make good flyers and enjoy foraging.  They are among the most popular bantam breeds, but it is difficult to maintain their prized features.
