Sumatra

A stately, elegant fowl, the Sumatra is classified as a light feathered, rare breed.  Legendary for their flying ability, these chickens are rumored to have flown over five miles between the Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Java.  Despte their prim appearance, Sumatras' behavior can border on feral as they jump about and readily fly, preferring to roost outside instead of in confinement.
