Yokohama

The Yokohama is one of several long-tailed breeds that arose from fowl imported into Japan from China as early as A.D. 600. It takes its name from the Japanese port, from which a number of long-tailed fowl were shipped to Europe in the late 1800s.  These are petite, good-natured birds that carry themselves with a style and elegance remniscent of a pheasant.
