Shamo

The Shamo is a type of small Japanese game fowl bred to thrive in close quarters. It's a true bantam breed, noted for its unique split wings. The breed is remarkably tall for its bantam size, and this height lends it a striking appearance. The breed's characteristic stance underscores its aggressive, strong temperament and it is known for its confident manner. Bred for fighting and meat, hens lay only briefly; when they do, the white eggs are small and unremarkable.
