Sussex

The Sussex is a lithesome fowl classified as a heavy, soft-feathered breed. Known for their calm demeanor, these are docile birds that are easy to tame and gentle with children. They make superior domestic backyard fowl, as males are less aggressive as many other breeds, and because they do not readily fly, they are easy to contain.
